A Very Irish Wedding

March 25, 2018

A special gift for a St. Patricks Day celebration.

Is there a setting more romantic than Ireland? Rolling green hills, soft Gaelic song, ancient castles and even more ancient folk tales create a magical backdrop or theme for a traditional wedding celebration. So, when a customer got in touch to request a special gift for a couple who were celebrating a St. Patrick’s themed ceremony, our imaginations went into overdrive. The rich history and culture of Ireland provided a wealth of design inspiration, allowing us to create a stunning gift that perfectly captured the emotion of the day.

Our team developed an idea for a personalised hamper that would celebrate the happy couple’s Irish heritage alongside the joy of their special day.

It included a personalised candle, scented in the brides favourite vanilla notes and coloured in stunning Irish green; a pair of ‘Elixir of Love’ potion bottles, embellished with the couple’s initials and a shamrock; and a beautiful glass bonbon jar, inscribed with ‘Pot of Gold’ and filled with the couple’s favourite sweet treats.

All of the items were lovingly decorated in

hand-applied gold foil and designed to reflect the tone and style of the wedding invitations. The stunning combination of gold and green along with the beauty of our vintage-inspired glassware added to an overall look and feel that our customer fell head over heels for.

The shamrock featured in our design had a particularly special meaning for the happy couple. It symbolised not only Ireland and the meaningfulness of their connection to the country but also wished them luck and happiness for their new adventure. We can’t think of a more fitting gesture on their wedding day. Here’s hoping they find their very own pot of gold in the shape of love and laughter for years to come.

Go n-eirí an t-ádh libh! (Good luck to you both!)

Here at ZeeCee Boutique, we love a challenge. And there is no brief too big or too small.

Get in touch and let us help you create a stunning gift or favour for your next event.
